Bimah Lectern
This Bimah was designed as a metaphorical open Torah scroll. It is constructed from rosewood with white sapwood veins trickling down the face. The brackets are half inch thick, cut from a single piece of brass plate found at the San Diego naval shipyard. The brackets fit into each other imparting a positive energy to the piece. The scrolls on the ends with highly figured grain are turned and banded in brass with domed finials on the tips.
