Care Instructions
With proper care this board will last for many years and will continue to serve all with gourmet delights and be the centerpiece for all occasions.
DO’S and DONT’S
- Never put your board in the dishwasher
- Do not submerse the board under water
- Do not scrub the board
- Do not use olive oil or vegetable oil on the board
- After use simply rinse it off using a sponge with mild soap and warm water
- Always rinse off both sides of board.
- Wipe off excess water with paper or clean dish towel
- Stand it upright on your counter and air dry completely before you store it.
If you have continuous use of the board; after washing and thoroughly drying, apply a coat of mineral oil with a cloth to both sides and all edges monthly.
Let it air dry 1-2 days then rub on a thin coat of beeswax, letting that dry and then burnish it to get a smooth finish.
Mineral oil is safe and is food grade. It can be purchased at your local supermarket.
